Local Area Network Installation
Installation of a local area network (LAN). Emphasis on LAN product overview and requirements, preinstallation procedures and testing, installation, administration, use, and problem resolution of a local area network product. Includes installation scheduling, preparation and installation of hardware and network operating system, configuration of security parameters and user accounts, installation of applications software, testing of network and applications, console operations, problem resolution, and use of the network. Prerequisites: CIS190 or permission of instructor.
