Basic orientation to ticketing and passenger services. Includes procedures for accepting passengers, baggage services, common hazardous materials encountered, and basic ticketing procedures. Prerequisites: AIR113.

1. Describe procedures for accepting various types of passengers for airplane transport. (I)
2. Differentiate between baggage accepted for transport as checked baggage and baggage accepted as carry-on. (II)
3. Determine when and how excess chages should be assessed for baggage. (II)
4. List steps for checking in passengers for airplane travel. (II)
5. Determine which type of baggage tags to use and fill selected tags out correctly. (II)
6. Identify baggage which cannot be accepted for transport. (II)
7. Identify common hazardous materials. (III)
8. Classify given transport items as either: 1) an acceptable material, 2) potential dangerous forbidden, or 3) an excepted dangerous material. (III)
9. Hand-write a basic ticket. (IV)
10. Determine how and when to use special forms. (IV)
11. Demonstrate international ticketing procedures. (IV)
12. List the various acceptable forms of payment, and demonstrate how to process each type. (V)
13. Explain the various types of non-revenue and reduced-rate ticketing. (VI)
14. Show the proper method to re-issue a ticket. (VII)
