Field Biology: Alaska/Northwest Canada
A 50-day study of basic ecological concepts and their relationships to field experiences in Alaska and Northwestern Canada. Study includes the ecosystem, biomes and water environments. Camping out, rigorous hiking, backpacking, and canoeing required. Prerequisites: Permission of instructor, at least 18 years of age by departure date, satisfactory physical condition (hiking test must be passed prior to enrollment) and ability to swim. Corequisites: GLG 195 CA.
