Natural History of the Southwest
Study of natural history of the Southwest with an introduction to environmental factors influencing Southwest ecosystems followed by survey of plants and animals native to various Southwest ecological communities. Emphasis on structural, functional, and behavioral adaptations of plants and animals, especially those of the desert. Field trips may be required at students' expense. Prerequisites: None.
