An overview of the criminal justice system as it deals with "people
problems". Examines antisocial behavior at various stages of human
development, the role of learning and personality in criminal behavior, and
common forms of criminal psychopathology. Develops communication skills for
dealing with the criminal justice client and awareness of the interaction
of personality and environment as it effects the conduct of crimes against
persons such as child maltreatment, sexual deviancy, assault and property
destruction. Prerequisites: None.
