Explosives Identification and Disposal
Basic information on identification of military and commercial explosives, techniques on investigation of bomb threats and scenes of explosions, proper handling of found explosives and methods of disposal, protection of the police officer against sabotage and entrapment bombing incidents, and federal and state laws governing the use of explosives. Prerequisites: Student must be employed as a public safety officer in a recognized governmental agency.
