Describe the process of recovery including key concepts,
barriers, basic principles, practices and environment. (I) |

Describe workplace issues including recovery based
environments, cultural considerations, interpretations of sexual harassment
and required job competencies as they apply to daily practices in a work
setting. (II) |

Describe the impact of trauma and abuse on individual
mental health and identify the relationship of this impact on workplace
mental health. (III) |

Demonstrate specific techniques of Self Management and
Recovery Training (SMART) including stages of change, dynamics of substance
abuse, handling urges, and assessing "pros" and "cons" of
decision-making. (IV) |

Explain recovery based mental health treatment plans using
activities, which focus on strengths, proper language, and appropriate
venting in work situations. (V) |
6.

Describe planning techniques, learning styles, participation
methods, and the handling of problem behavior resulting from mental health
issues as it relates to the facilitation of job related training assignments.
