Native American Law Enforcement
Examines the history, organization, operation and jurisdiction of federal, state, and local non-tribal and local tribal law enforcement agencies on Native American reservations. Emphasizes the role and function of tribal police, court and correctional agencies. Other topics include traditional tribal laws and law enforcement, sovereignty, jurisdictional issues, cultural issues, and the impact of gaming on Native American law enforcement.
