Oracle: Network Administration

Trends and problems associated with business networking and various solutions required for problem solving. Includes Oracle network architecture; configuring client-side and server-side connections, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Names Server, Multi-threaded Server, and Connections Manager; identifying network problems using Network Assistant and troubleshooting the network environment; and security risks and solutions. Prerequisites: CIS117DP or permission of the instructor.

Implement a basic connection between server-side and client-side using basic architecture. (I, II, III, IV)

2.

Configure Oracle Names to resolve a service name. (V)

Start up and shut down the Oracle Intelligent Agent for Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). (VI)

4.

Configure and start up a Multithreaded Server. (VII)

5.

Configure a client and server node and establish a connection between the two Configure Connection Managers to perform connection polling and connection restriction. (VIII)
